About Tamara Sachs, MPH, PA-C

Tamara graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology and a Master of Public Health. While attending East Carolina, she competed in Division I women’s tennis on a full athletic scholarship. She obtained a Master of Physician Assistant from the Medical College of Georgia from which she graduated with honors. Recognized for her community service and desire to help others, she received the Medical College of Georgia’s Outstanding Service Award.

Tamara’s most recent experience includes clinical practice in orthopedic surgery. Her duties included pre-, intra-, and postoperative care of patients at a level one trauma center.

Tamara believes in empowering her patients by educating them about their condition and what to expect. She believes listening to her patients is the most valuable thing she can do as a provider to help ensure the best possible treatment and outcome.

Outside of her medical practice, Tamara enjoys reading books, traveling, music, and staying active through tennis, hiking, running, and skiing.
